Really? Julian Assange is facing life in prison for breaking American laws exposing US war crimes...and Assange isn't even American.

The US is smarter about both our imperialism and our censorship. We outsource it so that it is not our government who does it, but a puppet like Hussien (we were happy enough with him when he was gassing his own people and Iranians) or Google, who deplatforms and destroys the livelihood of anyone who gets too big of a voice in opposition to the US MIC.

I agree that being bankrupt and unemployable is better than in jail, but that is a low fucking bar there if the best we can chant is," USA! We're not as repressive as Russia! USA! USA!"
