Re: “in what sense” totally fucked — I mean like the possible 40% of small businesses that will never reopen, the employees who lost their jobs with no help from our government giving them some of OUR money to tide them over, people getting sick while just doing their jobs because they know if they quit they lose their healthcare and the income they need to pay the rent. I think those people — a huge portion of the country are totally fucked through no fault of their own.

The fact that our government isn’t helping them out pisses me off no end. I mean, what the fuck is government other than pooling our resources to do things more efficiently, doing things that have greater social than economic benefit and taking care of us in times of need?
