Prior to Great Britain it was the Ottoman Empire. Guess what, Ms. alleged Lawyer: Three wrongs don't make a right. Stealing stolen property doesn't make it "not stolen."

A lot of people unknowingly (or probably knowingly but they were lying) bought stolen Jewish property before, during, and after WWII in Germany and Austria (other places as well, but particularly there). When the property was identified the Jews could rightfully sue to get it back because regardless of how it was purchased, it was still stolen from the Jews and owned by them. This same principle applies to the property of Palestinians.
