Please stop using Aleppo as an example against Russia. I does not help your argument.

Aleppo was held by ISIS before Russia drove them out. I'm not addressing Grozny because I don't have the expertise, but Syria was being conquered by literal Jihadi terorists before Russia came in and drove them out - or at least drove them to the areas being held illegally by the US (currently occupying 1/3 of Syria - a war crime).

There are US leaked cables (see Wikileaks) confirming that the US knew and approved of ISIS taking over Syria until Russia helped Syria stop them. I'm not a fan of Assad or Putin, but if you prefer ISIS to either of those dictators, then your moral compass needs replacing.
