Physics, western media and logic all say Ukraine is shelling the nuclear power plant.

It is in Russia's interest that the plant not get destroyed:

- They control the plant so their people will get hurt the most

- They control the area and have annexed it. After the war they'll want the plant operational

- Western media has acknowledged that Russia is not shelling the plant, but has not gone so far as to say that Ukraine is

- Just like in the Donbass from 2014-2022, it is not hard to calculate roughly where the shelling is coming from. It is not coming from the east

- The worst thing for Russia and the best thing for Ukraine is if the US and/or NATO get into the war. A nuclear plant being destroyed would do that.

None of this says that what Russia is doing in Ukraine is morally or legally correct. It is just an objective (as much as possible) analysis of the situation.
