People (even in the comments here) keep saying this election is "a choice between democracy and autocracy." The Dems rigged/canceled their primary to make Joe the nominee in 2020, and the presumptive nominee this year. They have lied bald-faced about his cognitive decline the entire time.

We are told we must support Biden when it is clear now that Biden does not have the mental capacity to lead. So the biggest economy and military in the world is being run by unelected people propping up Biden. That is not democracy.

The foundation of US democracy depends on 3 functioning co-equal branches of government. The executive branch is different in that a single person is supposed to be calling the shots and is answerable to the people. The president is the person directing on a day-to-day basis what the US does. If that person is clearly not cognitively able to do the job, we're in North Korea / Baghdad Bob territory.

Who is calling the shots on Israel, Ukraine, Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Yemen, Egypt, Venezuela, and Syria? I'm sure some of the time it is Biden, but a majority of the time it is not. I would bet my yearly income that Biden could not - in one go - list those countries and the major issues between the US and those countries. I think Trump could (maybe not Yemen). I'd probably disagree with most of Trump's opinions, but that is not the point.

The point is that if the US electorate is being told we have to pretend we have a major party candidate who is fully cognizent then we have authoritarianism right now. Biden is clearly NOT making all the decisions about what the most powerful military is doing right now. This means we don't have democracy RIGHT now, let alone in 4+ years if Biden were to be reelected.
