One point I always forget to mention is that Israel going into Gaza after 7 October is itself a war crime. Gaza, like the West Bank, is occupied territory. Israel has no right to fire a single bullet AFTER the end of the Hamas attack. On 7 October, Israel of course has every right to kill every single Hamas fighter attacking Israelis.

AFTER 7 October Israel has the obligation - particularly after 57 years! - to end the occupation and no right to attack the Palestinians that the Israelis are occupying. International law says Gazans have every right to armed resistance against the Israelis.

After so many decades of occupation I frequently forget the fact that Israel is illegally occupying not only the Golan Heights, but also the Palestinians. Hat tip to Aaron Maté for frequently pointing this additional war crime of Israel's.
