Of course not. That being said, Hillary Clinton and the DNC (which was contractually controlled by Hillary Clinton's team) specifically pushed Donald Trump as the R candidate because they were sure that Hillary could beat Trump. So a LOT of blame goes to the Ds.

You are wrong about what I search for. I'd like actual democracy and not oligarchy. Short-term in the US I know that is not going to happen, but that is what I want.

Trump proved that there is still some democracy in US elections. I don't like him and won't ever vote for him, but he won the election despite everyone in the establishment and their dogs being against him.
