On an actually serious note, I think all these products, as you allude/write, are based on the "understanding" that women's genitals are "dirty" because women are dirty and the only women who would talk openly about sex or their genitals are obviously dirty whores.

My wife, a trained seamstress, makes her own period panties out of natural fibers. Since she can make her own patterns based on her own body, her panties fit her perfectly and she can avoid tampons and pads. They are great for sports and the other dirty whore activities she engages in on days when she is probably going to get her period but hasn't yet.
