Not the best analogy. As Ali aged and lost a step, he thought he was still quick enough to avoid enough of the impact. What happened was that Ali got brain damaged and even by the end of the 70s it was clear he couldn't talk like he did in the 60s.

Ali was the greatest. He had the heart of a lion. But what made him the greatest was definitely not his method of using his height and reflexes to slip punches (instead of keeping his damn gloves up!).

What made Ali the greatest was the man he was outside the ring. Ali was willing to give up his titles and potentially his career and livlihood to fight against injustice. Joe Biden isn't in the same league as Ali in that regard. Hell, Biden isn't even in the same sport.
