Not sure what you mean, but I can tell you Germans are wondering how great the "NATO deal" is. They have been occupied by the US since WWII. They have been cajoled into sending tanks to directly fight Russia and then find out their NATO partners are reneging on their agreement to also send tanks. Germany spent billions on the NS I and NS II pipelines, only to have the US blow it up.
Ukraine is an indicator of how much the US will support its military partners. So Germany is doubly unhappy that they sent those tanks to Ukraine.
Saudi Arabia has been complaining for a long time about a lack of Patriot missiles. How many do you think Ukraine is going to get, and when? If Russia were to attack Latvia (which I absolutely do not expect them to), how many tanks and missiles will NATO have left for them?
People think Article 5 of the NATO treaty requires countries to declare war on a country that attacks a fellow NATO country. It doesn't. There is wiggle room.
NATO countries, especially Germany, are learning through the Ukraine war what NATO has always been about: "Keep the Russians out, the Americans in, and the Germans down" - Hastings Ismay, first Secretary General of NATO.
Since Ismay's time the overarching goal is to force all NATO countries to spend 2% of their GDP buying US made weapons. The US controls 51% of the global arms export market. THAT is what NATO is about. The Ukraine war has sent US MIC stock prices up very nicely.
