No reason not to just because it tastes good? Continual forced breeding (i.e. "rape") of the females, then taking their babies as soon as they are born, killing most all the males, forcing them to live in tortuous conditions for a life of 4 years instead of 20. How about those reasons?

Apples don't have a nervous system or parents. Eat apples and drink apple juice. Noone will suffer.
