Nadin that is just lame.

170,000 dead Japanese civilians from 1945 do not become a "Russian talking point" in 2023.

The US is currently sanctioning about 1/3 of the world. It is estimated 40,000 Venezuelans have died due to US sanctions. 500,000 Iraqi children were starved to death by US sanctions in the 1990s. That is only children, and before we invaded and killed another 200,000 to 1,000,000 civilians in our illegal invasion.

The US has ongoing military activities in over 100 countries at any time. I'm underestimating because I don't find a link quickly and can't remember off the top of my head.

The US has 170,000 troops abroad and 850 (over 1000 if you count non-official sites) foreign military bases.

Since WWII we've tried / succeeded in overthrowing over 180 governments. Recently we've destroyed Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria, where we are currently illegally occupying 1/3 of the country. We just built a military base there, FFS.

The point is we don't need to threaten with nuclear weapons, because we have tanks, mortars, guns, planes and troops right there pointing their guns at the locals, with ships and subs offshore.

It is not Russia threatening at Zaphorizhia, they are occupying it. It is Ukraine shelling.

It is the US who blew up the German/Russian Nordstream II pipeline, which is not just threatening Europe, it is pushing Germany into recession possibly depression, and killing civilians last winter (and this winter) who can't afford to pay for gas that is 4-6X more expensive.

I'm sure Russia is committing war crimes. As is Ukraine. The US is the biggest war criminal of all. It is not even close.
