My words were "families are more of 'open pit coal mine' than diamond" not "one's entire family is perceived as a sewage pit." The fact that you took my gray analogy and made it nearly black and white says more about you than me.

You don't know fuck all about my family.

You don't even know what I was using as the definition of "family." Do you know if I meant only my nuclear family, or my aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, etc.? Do you even know if I have siblings, aunts, uncles, etc.? No, you don't. You just made an assumption and then alluded that I'm the problem based upon the straw man argument you created. Again, this says more about you than me.

If you've got a great family in general, I'm happy for you. Your personal experience doesn't change or negate mine.
