My thoughts almost exactly. It should not be just looks, but that physical spark has to be there for me.

My wife and I met when a not close friend asked me to come along to a bar I'd never been to where my wife was the barkeeper/manager. When we saw each other for the first time across the bar the sexual attraction between us was clear to each of us (we've talked about this many times).

20 years later it is still there. We've had ups and downs like every other couple. I can testify that when things are tough, being still physically attracted to each other definitely helps.
