Trump in a way is like the dude who put his savings into Dogecoin and got stomped. Trump thought (or whatever he does that approaches "thought") that if he gave the super rich tax breaks he'd be accepted and protected as president. LOLZ.

The real oligarchs (for the record I don't believe Trump is actually even a billionaire) used Trump and have now hung him out to dry. Trump at least deserves to lose all and go to prison (where maybe we will find out what his hairline really looks like!) for his lifetime of fraud. The point is that the system is set up to help those at the very tippy top. You might get lucky as a 5%er or 10%er to make some money, but don't for a second believe that the .1% won't fuck you over for a nickel - or just on principle.

The r/wallstreetbets should have been a wake up call for you and everyone else that if you really start to make money at the expense of the .1%, they'll just shut down the market and change the rules. It is why I got out of trading 20 years ago after the dotcom bubble made this clear for me.

Party affiliation doesn't matter here. Presidential candidate preference doesn't matter here. All that matters is that rubes get fleeced and the rich get richer.
