Move the goalposts much?
The theoretical scenario women have been discussing is: "Man or Bear." This was altered for men to, "Diddy or Bear."
You have now created a completely different scenario of "Gang or Bear." My answer to what I would choose in that situation is completely different to a 1 on 1 with Diddy.
My point was and remains that 1 on 1 a human vs. a bear in the woods is a no brainer. I understand women's fear of men. It is well justified. I feel that IN THAT SITUATION of "unknown man or unknown bear" you'd be a fool to choose bear.
This foolhardiness is gender-neutral. 6% of men think they could take a bear in a fight. Not just "survive an encounter with a bear" but beat a bear in a fight. 8% think they could beat a gorilla or fucking elephant! That is delusional.

I don't know the relative strength differences between man and bear, but I know that a gorilla is on average 8 times stronger than an adult male. So me fighting a gorilla would be like a toddler fighting me.
My meta point is that both men and women underestimate vastly how dangerous encounters with large wild animals are. Men in particular, with our testosterone fueled egos, can be far more foolhardy than a women choosing a random encounter with a bear over a random encounter with a man in the woods.
