Maybe, but that would be a pretty big mistake.

Czechia is in NATO. The government has been fervently in favor of the west since the "velvet revolution." I know this not only from reading, but my wife is Czech (born and raised in Czechoslovakia). I travel there multiple times a year to visit her entire family that still lives there. Her dad is currently on an extended visit with us here in Vienna. So I wouldn't say I'm an expert on Czechia, but I definitely know far more than the average American.

The average Czech, compared to their government, is mostly against being in the war. That does not make them pro-Russian. The sentiment on the street (e.g. 70,000 demonstrators in Prague last Sept) is that this is not Czechia's war. Czech politicians understand that their political futures depend on voters.

Street demos are not organized by Russian billionaires buying property.
