What the majority of average Americans wants gets put into law less than 10% of the time, while what the 1% want gets put into law 90% of the time. That is oligarchy.

We only get what we want when it is also what the ultra wealthy want.

One big difference between China and Russia and the US is that the people there know they live in authoritarian countries. People in the US just think they do.
