Your last two sentences are, "Ukraine does not have the power to make lasting peace anymore than Hamas does. That power rests with Russia and Israel, respectively." These are direct comparisons between Ukraine and Israel-Palestine.

Your second sentence, "Russia invaded with the intention of restoring old Soviet territory and placing a puppet regime back in charge." is 100% conjecture. You may THINK that is what Russia wants to do, but you cannot know that was Russia's intention prior to their invasion.
