LOL. At this point I'm pretty sure your not a lawyer, and am wondering if you are an AI bot, or just have a list of Israel talking points that you plug in to your responses, regardless of whether they fit or not.
For example: I wrote nothing about DNA.
I was VERY clear about timelines, and it is not at all complex.
After the horrors of WWII, countries got together and formed the UN. Laws of war were drawn up and agreed. Israel agreed to those when joining the UN.
War crimes are clearly laid out and Israel is committing them daily. That Hamas committed some war crimes on 7 October does not give Israel a pass to commit war crimes. Again, this is very simple.
Israel is the occupying power over Gaza and the West Bank, as well as the Golan Heights. Israel is committing a war crime by attacking inside Gaza. Israel is committing a war crime by building inside occupied territory. Again, this is very simple.
The trope of "a land without people for a people without a land" is just silly in 2024. In 2024 a 10-year-old with a smart phone can refute this in 2 minutes.
Israel has dropped more ordinance on Gaza in 8 months than was dropped in WWII on Dresden, Hamburg and London - combined. No one in their right mind (who is not lying) can say this a proportional response to the attacks by Hamas on 7 October. That is a war crime by Israel:
A short list of other war crimes by Israel:
- Cutting off fuel, water, and electricity to all of Gaza:
- Targeting journalists
- Targeting medical first responders
- Targeting UN staff
- Bombing UN buildings
- Bombing schools
- Bombing refugee camps
- Bombing universities
- Building a buffer zone in occupied territory
- Bombing mosques and churches
- Shooting unarmed people
- Soldiers dressing as medical / humanitarian staff to infiltrate areas
These are just a few and all are on camera and/or admitted by Israeli authorities
Hamas is not lead by good people. No doubt. No doubt they committed war crimes on 7 October.
That being said, the UN allows armed resistance by an occupied people - the Palestinians - against their occupiers - Israel.
Israel could choose to end this all by stopping the occupation. Hamas made the offer on 8 October to release all hostages if Israel would commit to NOT attacking Gaza (a war crime in any case). Israel chose to commit that war crime and countless others, IMO commit genocide, since 7 October.
All of the arguments about what Hamas might or might not mean in their charter are moot compared to the ethnic cleansing and genocide being perpetrated by Israel - and by Israel alone - since 7 October. Nothing Hamas has said or done justifies what Israel has done or is doing. Again, international law is very clear about this. It is not complicated.
