Jugding by the western world with "leaders" like Margeret Thatcher, Madelaine Albright, Hillary Clinton and co, the world will not be kinder and gentler and more cooperative if women ruled.

The problem, IMHO is the type of system we currently have, dominated nearly exclusively by predatory capitalism.

The more socialism is mixed in with capitalism as the dominant social and economic structure, the less it matters whether men or women are "representing us." That is the key point: We don't need "rulers" we need elected representatives that answer to the people, and not to the unelected mega-wealthy and the companies they control.
