Iran didn't fail at all. They announced what they were going to do, and then did it. Iran was sending a message.

Israel was supposed to be impregnable. Iran got through with (I've read) up to 5 hypersonic missiles and hit key Israel military installations that had been used to attack Iran's embassy.

Iran didn't use their newest missiles. They didn't use all their missiles.

The US, UK and France helped shoot down Iran's drones and missiles. Yet Iran still got through.

Iran's message got through, "We can hit you back if you do something like that again."
