Interestingly, just last night I was discussing history with a young man studying to be a history teacher. One of his many excellent points was that all news, and history is just "old news," is subjective. Thus stories in the west will put western religions and related wars on the "front page," and eastern religions and wars on page 26c under the ad for a local restaurant.
