Interesting, thanks, but my point wasn't about recreating the Voyager goals, but how much it would cost in 2022 dollars to send similar probes out.

IT technology has advanced nearly immeasurably in the last 45 years. There are certainly interesting things to be explored other than the outer solar system. I'm estimating that one fewer battle tank would cover the costs of a 2022 Voyager probe to one of the billion interesting things in space that we can feasibly reach.
