Ineterstingly, my wife and I had almost exactly the same conversation and came to the same conclusions as your post the day before I read this. My wife's grandfather survived Buchenwald. He was (and we are) not Jewish, but statements comparing on-line pushback to being literally forecably taken as a slave to work in a deathcamp are insulting and diminish the horror of what those people went through.
