I'm reading Gaiman's Sandman right now. Very much enjoying it, and his obvious trolling you post here.

I haven't seen Amazon's "Rings of Power." What I've read about it, the main problems are black elves and dwarves. I've read all of Tolkien's works, the LOTR and Hobbit very many times. I'm100% sure the elves are pale skinned and blond. About the dwarves, I'm not so sure.

New interpretations of a beloved story are great, but you have to accept that if you make a new version of "Snow White" and the princess is black, you're gonna face some backlash. If you create black elves in a fully created world as Tolkien's middle earth that has many thousands of years described in the original source material with explicitly blond, white elves - well you have to be prepared for A LOT of backlash.
