I'm old enough to remember when the US was going to be the leader in renewable energy and battery technnology. But first GHW Bush tried and then Bill Clinton succeeded in the plan to outsource all that to China. Clinton left office well-off but not rich. Now his is personally worth 150 million. I'm sure that is just a coincidence.
