I'm old enough, good looking enough, and have a job where I have a lot of travel and human contact to have known multiple women who were "cute" to "stop a clock" goood looking when they were younger get older.

There are a lot of women who use their looks instead of brains, charm (verbal, not physical), logic, and/or humor to get what they want when they don't have the authority to demand it (e.g. job position). These women, without exception, are like your example woman: Bitter and a pain in the ass if you don't succumb to their advances immediately. As they get older, noone succumbs because they had nothing to offer but their looks.

In general (there are exceptions) I don't blame the women but western society (I can't judge other societies as I don't know them). We objectify women, infantilize women and reject most ALL good looking women who show brains and wit (God help them if they have a talent for sarcasm!). So of course nearly all take the ONLY path that western society leaves open to them and use their looks. It is a vicious cycle.
