I'm all for trans rights. They have a tough situation and have been marginalized forever. First and foremost they should be protected from physical harm.

All that beiing said, what is the definition of a "transphobe?" I would guess that is a lot of the problem. If people disagree on the definition of transphobia they're never going to agree on what needs to be done in specific situations.
