If you're not on Wall Street with inside info and/or superfast servers, you're getting used by Wall Street. If you're trying to time the market, all you have is stress. I keep only what I have to in the markets and the rest I invest in things with less volatility and first and foremost are not being manipulated constantly and massively by groups over which I have zero control.

It goes (almost) without saying that living under your means is the only way to financial security.
