Iraq did not bomb itself. Nor did Afghanistan. We did that. Yemen did not bomb itself. We provide Saudi Arabia with the bombs, planes and military support to destroy that country.

I don't deny the brutal governments of Middle East, including those listed above and adding Israel, Egypt, Oman, the UAE and Jordan. The fact is that without US providing funding and arms, political disagreements would more likely than not remain at the verbal level. We - the US - provide the means for verbal arguments to turn into bloody conflicts.
