If all USAID did was the kind of projects you do, I'd be all for it. Unfortunately, the vast majority (around 90% IIRC) are actually regime change efforts undermining governments in the countries where USAID operates.

I don't think Musk and Trump are good actors. I think they are both corrupt self-dealers who are using this purge to remove guardrails to their own corruption. I wish they were really going through agencies like USAID and getting rid of the chaff and saving the wheat programs like yours.

That being said, more people around the world will be saved by the 90% of governments that WON'T be overthrown and end up either in civil wars or regional wars. How many millions have died in Ukraine, Georgia, Libya, Syria, etc. where USAID was working to destabilize the country...and then "succeeded"?
