I would like to point out that that is bullshit framing making it look like a vegan diet is riskier for pancreatic cancer than an animal based diet. The opposite is true.

I would further like to point out that eating an healthy plant-based diet is associated with an even FURTHER decreased risk of pancreatic cancer compared to an unhealthy plant-based diet, both of which (again) correlate to a lower risk of pancreatic cancer than an animal-based diet.

I understand that one needs to write headlines that draw a click. Only 2-4% of people eat vegan. I know it is for the most part a privilege to eat vegan, as it takes more time (not necessarily more money).

If you were REALLY trying to prompt thinking about how the type of vegan diet affects risk in a vegan-positive manner, you would have written something like, "Can a vegan diet reduce your risk of pancreatic cancer?" The answer to that, compared to an animal-based diet is clearly, "YES." Then you could have added something like, "But be aware that an unhealthy plant-based diet, while better than an animal-based diet, does not reduce your risk of pancreatic cancer nearly as much as a healthy plant-based diet," and then add details.

That is not at all what you did. I'm also 97% sure that you have updated your article since my comment was posted yesterday. I see what you've done there, Brent. Bye now.
