I wish there were feasible other options, but the increbibly wealthy and powerful actors profiting off of global warming are not going to change their ways without being forced, and we don't have the power to force them.

I'm VERY worried about any kind of chemical geoengineering. It is impossible to model all the effects correctly. Mechanical solutions scare me less, particularly those located on earth that will be easier to attenuate / modify based on feedback.

Scary times ahead...
