I went through mobbing as a young teen (yes, it can even happen to cartoon characters!). It was horrible. I lost almost all my friends. I was "lucky" in that we moved across the country in the summer after that year of school, and this was pre-internet.

Little did I know that I would then get mobbed as the "Yankee" in South East Texas. But that mobbing was not personal and didn't last that long so it wasn't too bad, more annoying.

I fucking hate bullies. Cyber bullies are the biggest pussies, hiding behind a keyboard.

I embraced my inner dork. My son and I built and fought with PVC light sabres until we broke them all. My wife still laughs out loud about us "sumo wrestling" in our pajama shorts pulled up like a sumo mawashis (loincloths). It WAS really funny with our shitty Japanese accents.

I'm lucky in my surroundings now. Many aren't. Which is why I fucking hate bullies.
