I*ve worked for a lot of big industrial clients, and Koch industries is really well run. Can't say I agree with Mr. Koch's politics, but I can't argue with how they handle the business I've been involved in.

The people I know who have worked for the Koch's for the most part feel the same.

As a very left-leaning guy, it has certainly been an eye-opener for me.

To answer your question: If I had that kind of money I'd be funding basic research on fusion energy, cheap and environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic and addressing climate change.
