I use AI software at work, and it's usefulness is extraordinary...when it is given a very clear problem with very well defined parameters. Basically it can do the job of digging through data that would take a human engineer days or weeks. The interpretation of the results of that research must still be done by a human.

IMO AI is a great tool, but it is a long ways from being smarter than humans.
