I totally agree with you. I've been running a consulting and software business for several decades. I have never (and will never) make a deal with foreign development firm to "save money" on development. Sure I'll save money..then they'll steal our proprietary products and try to sell them cheaper because they don't have to pay European wages which include health care, pension, sick leave, etc.
Our greedy politicians, particularly in the US, have brought this on us. They allowed multi-nationals to ship manufacturing overseas after Reagan knocked all the tarrifs down that had existed since the start of the US.
The result is virtually no manufacturing of physical goods in the US, and it is going the same way (thankfully slower) in the EU.
