I think the REAL question is, why can capital soar accross borders if the humans who control and/or are influenced by that capital cannot?

If capital had the same passport limitations as the humans who carry passports, we'd see a much more equitable world.

Because in addition to roaming free, we humans have also set up communities where different rules apply, including different tax rules and environmental rules. That is why it is important to have passports for humans - and why it is a scandal that we don't have similar rules for capital.
