I think the premise of this post is true. I sure as hell wish Boomers would vote so that the next generations don't have the same issues.

Bernie Sanders would have won in 2016 and taken us in a VERY different direction regarding healthcare and wages, which are the #1 and 2 issues affecting average people's retirement funds.

Bernie would also have won in 2020 for the same reasons as above, with the pandemic making both points even more important.

Bernie DIDN'T win, because boomers - in geneeral, I'm not talking about specific individuals - mostly voted for the neoliberal assholes who got us into this mess.
