I think it is great that he is so awesome at chess. I'm sure he'd kick my ass. But I'm not impressed.

I'd be impressed if he used that massive intellect on something like solving the engineering and physics problems in achieving a stable fusion reactor, or finding an environmentally friendly and inexpensive alternative to plastic, or a way to safely remove greenhouse gases from the atmosphere.

Those are problems with variables comparible to playing 70 simultaneous chess games. More importantly, those are problems that if solved might help even the odds that there is a human civilization in 150 years to read about what an awesome chess player Magnus was in 2021.
