I remember the dot com crash. Painfully. I was young and stupid and didn't do my research. I've learned since then.

If I didn't have a day job, I think the brains, analysis and tech necessary to make a bit of money are within my limits. But I have a day job, which means I'd be late getting in and getting out and lose money.

The fact that penny stock pump n' dump schemes have now moved to billion dollar firms does not bode well for the market. I'll continue to hold tight in my more conservative position so I don't lose my ass(ets), even if it means passing up "quick gains."
