I outgrew strip clubs very quickly. It was (for me) very clear that the girls were there selling a fantasy that they were going home with you - they were not. Save your money on the cover charge and buy a big box of tissues. Your evening is going to end the same way regardless.

Married/attached guys who continue to sneak out (wife/girlfriend doesn't know) to strip clubs (in the US) are to my mind similar to men in Europe who go on "boys' weekends" so they can go to brothels. Dude, if you don't want to fuck your own wife anymore to the point that you will spend large amounts of money to have a girl grind on you (US) or actually have sex with you (EU), then just man up and get divorced. It's pathetic.

If your girlfriend/wife doesn't care, then that's a whole different thing. More power to you and to each his own. It is the hypocrisy and lying I don't like.

My (anecdotal, I know) experience is that it is the guys who frequent strip clubs and brothels are those who most often then say "those kinds of women" are not "marriage material," they are just for "having fun" (actual quote).
