I loved all the books. I liked the original Dune, but it suffered from too little money (technology) and too little time - the book was simply too dense for a 2 hour movie, regardless of the director.

This adaption 35 years years later solves both problems. The cast looks great. The mood looks great. I'm fucking stoked and ready to see it, but I admit I'll wait for blu-ray and watch it at home as I have a really nice home theater set-up and no desire for Covid.
