I love US muscle cars of the late 60s and early 70s. If you look at videos and photos of these cars with a crowd of people, you can always tell if they are new photos/vids or old ones. Because in the old ones there is maybe 1 chubby person, and the rest are thin, and in the new ones it is the reverse. Americans are hugely fat now.

It doesn't matter what kind of jeans you wear if you are not fat - you'll look good. I'm not talking about "Heroin chic" (gaunt) or chiseled/ripped. I just mean 15% body fat (or so) for a guy and 25% (or so) for a girl. No muffin top. No love handles. High or low waist, bell-bottoms, boot cut, straight leg, skinny - doesn't matter. If you are in those ranges of body fat, you'll look good. Why? Because those are healthy levels of fat for men and women, and as humans we naturally see that as attractive.
