I love this post, and the fact that so many other women made/make so many supportive comments. With all the shit happening in the world, it makes me smile to see something positive!

There are guys (like me) who like independent women. Actually prefer independent women. I like that my wife - an immigrant like me - WANTS to be with me, as opposed to NEEDS to be with me.

TBH I think the people who are spiteful and vindictive are really just too scared to do it themselves. They are jealous of what you do, so to justify their fear, jealousy, spite and vindictiveness, they have to make what you do "bad." That way they can be "good" for being scared without admitting it.
