I love these personal posts of yours. Very, very inspiring. I cannot open up online the way you do, and I admire you for that strength and courage.

My life has been a strange journey as well. I was born the son of a dairy farmer turned dairy salesman who was also the son of a dairy farmer in a tiny town in Wisconsin in the US.

Now I'm a self-employed, vegan engineer running an engineering and software company in Vienna, Austria. I never would have believed you in high school if you told me where I'd be 20 years later!

I've never been really poor, but I have been broke and out of work. I've been very well-off and thought the gravy train would never end. I also lost the need to only chase money and that was a huge turning point in my life. I can really relate to that.

Thanks again for this great post among so many other great posts of yours.
