I lived in Minneapolis decades ago, and return now on business regularly for some years starting long before Floyd was murdered.

The friends I've made since returning regularly have said the city has changed massively and for the worse since Floyd's murder.

I don't pretend I know the answers, but I believe strongly that the never-addressed racial problems caused by slavery will continue to be a problem until either they are addressed or so much time passes (as in 100s of years) that it is no longer a daily issue. IMO we are a long way from either solution.
