I like the spirit of this, but I fucking hate the execution. Yes, you need to share chores. Yes, you need to appreciate housework - particularly shopping and cooking! But making missions statements and weekly status meetings (that IS what you're discribing) is fucking stupid. It turns a personal partnership into a transactional business relationship.

Next thing you know we'll have a Silicon Valley startup with a "Home Joy" app that tracks KPIs and ranks picking up dirty socks and wiping up kid's vomit vs. mowing the lawn to make sure that you have an equitable marriage.
